Japanese punk legends SLANG first new album in ten years! An urgent nine song blast of metallic punk fury! Sparked by outrage at the world's current state of ceaseless wars, resurgent racism and the corrupt conservative politics within Japan. This quick detonation takes inspiration from the devastating impact of succinct original UK political Hardcore EP's Like DISCHARGE'S "WHY" to attack with a similar stark declaration of point-blank anger and resistance. Musically "REST IN MISERY" reignites the sound of the Sapporo's bands crushing 2000's releases, which combined their 1980's original high energy, classic Japanese hardcore sound, the tough New York Style hardcore influences of their 1990's albums and their 00's evolution into a razor-sharp D-Beat hardcore bombardment, tempered with heaviness and searing guitar leads.
